More than a hundred years ago the imaginatively staged "Arcadia Festival" was the prelude to countless lavish festivities at the Munich Künstlerhaus. After the heyday of the Gründerzeit in the 19th century dramatic world events brought social life to standstill for decades. Since 2001 the legendary Gauklerball became once again an integral part of the Künstlerhaus program. Untill today it is considered as one of the most beautiful costume festivals in the city. On February 4, 2023, after two years of abstinence, Munich's historic artists meeting place will make jugglers and dreams fly. Love and peace principal Albrecht von Weech presents a sensational Beatles tribute show and the rousing medley of the Iwanson International School of Contemporary Dance. An unique ambience guarantees the magnificiently decoration of the house from the Flower Foyer fo the colorful Hippie Hall as well as the party-loving, magnificently costumed jugglers.
